Pasture Petfoods, in Hawke’s Bay, was planning to install a new electric boiler as part of its decarbonisation efforts. However, the challenge was staying within the site’s capacity limit, as exceeding it would have required a costly network upgrade.

Monitoring revealed that the plant had adequate capacity to operate the new electric boiler at full capacity, eliminating the need for additional infrastructure.
